The Studio
Welcome!
The studio is my place of solace and retreat but most importantly this is the place I create one-of-a-kind pieces that I hope will bring my customers not only something of beauty but also many years of enjoyment with every draw from the briar.
Over the years, I’ve accumulated quite a number of task-specific tools and am always buying, creating and modifying things as I develop new techniques. My father always said to buy the very best tools you could afford, because, if you treat them well, they’ll be with you for a lifetime. I’ve tried to instill this in my own children, and with any luck, many of these tools will be passed on through the generations for their own creations.
